Many of the hair, makeup, and beauty products marketed to Black people are highly toxic, and yet many Africans are unaware of the dangers these products cause to their long-term health. Potential hazards linked to beauty product ingredients include cancer, hormone disruption, developmental and reproductive damage, allergies and other adverse health effects. As part of our mission, we strive to educate our clients, and provide services with safer alternatives–for the health of our clients and our staff.
